Wildwood Park is a unique neighbourhood in Winnipeg where pedestrian traffic takes priority over vehicles. Integrated around parks and playgrounds, Wildwood offers a safe haven to bike, hike, ski or stroll.
During the winter, Wildwood Community Centre, Wildewood Club golf course and St. Johns-Ravenscourt School offer groomed trails for classic or skate cross country skiing. Access is from the parking lot of the Winnipeg Lawn Tennis Club or at the corner of Oakenwald and North Drive. For more information, visit the Cross Country Ski Association of Manitoba website at www.ccski.mb.ca

Wildwood is one of the lucky neighbourhoods in Winnipeg where the annual Manitoba Marathon passes through. Miles 4 and 5 of the run comes down South Drive to North Drive and up along Oakenwald to Wicklow.
Residents get organized for the day by pulling out their lawn chairs to cheer on the passing runners or volunteering at the various stations.
The upcoming Manitoba Marathon will be Fall 2020.
